Dog Breeds and Their Behavior

traits is important before adopting a dog.
Guinea Pigs ). They are a happy fun loving breed. These are probably one of the best dogs to pet sit. Other than exercise and food they are easy to tend to.
Labrador Retriever: These dogs like the Golden Retriever ... Cocker Spaniel ... English Springer Spaniel ... Brittany Spaniel are also intelligent, loyal and have a pleasant personality. They are great around kids and get along well with other dogs.
Terriers: Terriers have a feisty and hyper personality. The different breeds of terriers range in sizes from small, medium and large.
Small size terriers include the Norfolk, Cairn, West Highland White Terrier, Norwich, Scottish Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer, Miniature Bull Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Lake land Terrier and Yorkshire Terrier.
Medium size terriers include the Australian Terrier, Bedlington Terrier, Border Terrier, Glen of Imaal Terrier, Kerry Blue Terrier, Parson Russell Terrier, Sealy Ham Terrier, Smooth Fox Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Manchester Terrier.
Large size terriers include the Large Airedale Terrier and Irish Terrier.
Alaskan Malamute: These dogs are friendly and highly intelligent but can be a bit stubborn. It's wise to keep them away from small animals because of their strong instinct.
Chihuahua: The Chihuahua by nature is gentle and loving but very protective of their master's. They are not fond of strangers and are bold and fearless.
Dachshund: The Dachshund is an all around friendly fun loving dog but at times become irritable. They can also be very mischievous at times.
Beagle: The Beagle is highly intelligent and an all around pleasant dog that usually never shows any signs of aggression.
Boxer: Boxers are intelligent and loving pets that are very loyal with high energy level. They are wary of strangers.
Bulldog: The Bulldog is gentle natured, loyal and devoted to their owners. They are suited well for a family with children.
German Shepherd: The German Shepherd possess superior intelligence. They are fearless and energetic and interact with families well.
Weimaraner: The Weimaraner is a strong-willed but obedient hunting dog.
